New Berlin Sportsplex is Milwaukee’s premier indoor futsal and Volleyball facility. With three large courts, NBS provides a variety of programs,including adult and youth leagues, youth classes, pick up games, court rentals, birthday parties, and more.

New Berlin Recreation Department
The Mission of the New Berlin Recreation Department is to improve the quality of the life in the City of New Berlin through the provision of a comprehensive year round recreation program in combination with a functional and aesthetic park system.

Each year the Recreation Department offers hundreds of programs, activities, and community events. These range from summer Day Camp to ballroom dance, cooking to gymnastics, and baton twirling to yoga. The staff team at New Berlin Recreation seeks to deliver high quality programming where thousands of New Berlin residents can meet new people, have fun, and try new activities. We are happy to announce that Phase I was completed in 2022 and the majority of our indoor programs have been moved to the New Berlin Activity & Recreation Center, located at 15321 W National Avenue!
Phase II

Phase I
Construction for Phase 2 began in September 2022 and expected to be complete in 2024. Phase II of the New Berlin Activity & Recreation Center will include:

(3) Multi-sport courts that can function as (3) basketball courts, (6) volleyball courts, and (9) pickleball courts.

An indoor walking/running track.

A multi-purpose fitness studio.

Work is set to begin the week of May 24, 2021. Once complete, the New Berlin Activity & Recreation Center will include:

Multi-purpose spaces that can be used for adult fitness class, day camp, arts & music classes, and adult technology programs.

A dance studio to host tap, jazz, ballet, ballroom dance and baton twirling classes.

A gymnastics space for teaching tumbling, beginners parkour, and gymnastics.

A teaching kitchen for healthy cooking demonstrations and hands-on cooking classes.

An indoor playground for your little ones to play on during day camp or on rainy days.

UPDATE: May 26, 2021- The Groundbreaking for the New Berlin Activity & Rec Center that was originally planned for June 2nd has now been rescheduled to: June 10th at 10 am.

UPDATE: June 10, 2021 - Today the City of New Berlin held it’s official groundbreaking ceremony at the Activity and Recreation Center (ARC)! We are very excited to bring a high quality facility to the New Berlin community and to continue to offer great recreational opportunities to the people of New Berlin. A special thanks to all of our hardworking co-workers here at the City, City officials, Burghardt Sporting Goods, and all of our past and present program participants for helping make this possible.

UPDATE: June 21, 2021 - Work is underway and the following work has been completed:

Foundations for the addition at the North East corner have been poured

The temporary shoring for the masonry removal at the front of the building has been set

Masonry removal for the new front of the building has been completed
