Memorial Day is right around the corner!
This is the day our Nation has set aside to honor the courageous men and women who have given their lives to protect our freedom. Here is a list of events to honor them and enjoy yourself this long holiday weekend:
1. New Berlin Farmers' Market
Saturday, May 29th. 8AM-Noon

Tickle your taste buds at the New Berlin Farmers Market! Select from a wide variety of fresh, locally grown and produced goods. These include flowers, fresh vegetables, homemade bakery, salsa, and much, much more. Visitors to the market will also find a variety of Shops & Restaurants easily within walking distance.
2. Zumba in the City Center

Saturday morning Zumba is coming to YOU at the New Berlin Farmers' Market!
Brought to the City Center by The Princeton Club.
Join us this Saturday, May 29nd, at 9:30 - 10:15 am for Zumba with Instructor Heidi. This class is completely open to the public, so invite your friends, bring your mat, and enjoy strengthening your body & mind in the outdoors with us!
*All classes are 45 minute classes. Please bring your own mat for Yoga.
3. Pop-Up Beer Garden - Minooka Park
Saturday, May 29th, 3-9 pm 1927 e. Sunset Drive, Waukesha WI
Join Raised Grain at Minooka Park for a Pop-Up Beer Garden. Bring your family, meet your friends, and enjoy our beautiful Wisconsin summer over a beer!
Raised Grain will have seven of their beers on tap, including our Guitar City Gold Lager, Pivo Boho Czech Pilsner, Summer Vice Hefeweizen, Naked Threesome IPA, Take 'er Easy Pale Ale, Boxcar's English Amber, and Mello Rillo Session Hazy IPA.
The featured Food Truck for this event will be Tramper’s Oak Fired Pizza!
4. Princeton Club Pool is NOW Open!

Make the most of your weekend- and your summer, with arranging a visit to the Princeton Club's outdoor pool! Their pool offers four lap lanes, social swim area, sun shelf, splash pad, outdoor bar and grill & more.

5. New Berlin Memorial Day Ceremony
Monday, May 31st, 11am - Noon
Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, 14875 W. Greenfield Ave, New Berlin
The City of New Berlin will be honoring the men and women who have served this Nation with a series of events on Memorial Day. The ceremony will start with a rifle salute, guest speakers, and song of our National Anthem and other patriotic music. The event will end with a balloon release with memorial tags.
Seating will NOT be provided so we recommend that you bring a lawn chair if you would like to sit during the ceremony. The event should last about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
